Trip Introduction:
It is a tough day getting in and out. Two portages but both very difficult. One is short with large gradient the other over a mile long. :(
Once at Swan, a great peaceful lake with good fishing. There is a nice cold rambling creek off the northern campsite, fun to play in or to cool a beverage.
Report
Sorry I dont have much else to say about it. One thing I couldnt find were any rock cliffs for jumping off or small rapids for playing in. I wouldnt recommend trying to traverse to the next lake to the north. Very tough terrain with knocked down trees everywhere. Plus the adjacent lake is a beaver lake anyways, so no amazing fishing like we had hoped. I will say it was pretty wet when we went but we had to build a pathway to the latreen with dead logs just to avoid shin deep mud - which sucked. Otherwise a great spot.
