I think site 846 is the best site on Alton.

How was the landing on the Alton side when you returned? It doesn't take much wind to make it challenging.

The landing was pretty sweet besides on the windy days. When we swam, we could walk out a good 30 to 40 feet and I'm 6 ft, although it is pretty rocky without watershoes. I'm 16, next year going to moose LK on a 40 mile round trip
