Thanks for taking the time to put this together, the effort is not unnoticed or unappreciated. Your narrative and videos really helped bring me along on the trip and showcased how beautiful that area is. It was inspiring how you encouraged each other as you encountered the various 'obstacles'.

Looking forward to reading about your future adventures. Love the BRT but, I must admit I've only done day hikes in various sections. Best wishes for a safe and successful hike.

Very nice write up! I liked the pic of coffee cup face. Most unfortunate about the one campsite, great attitude though! : )

I couldn't wait for success, so I went ahead without it!

Fun reading through your trip report, though I haven't checked the videos yet. Yeah some of the BWCA trails can be challenging. You should also do the Angleworm and when you have your pack lightened a bunch to the Sioux Hustler trail. Lastly, I think the Pow Wow trail is open all the way around but you should double check that before you go.

I suppose the high water level they are reporting might be problem on both trails though - lot's more sloshing around in a couple low areas and lot's more care crossing the beaver dams.

Time in the woods leaves no time for carving and drawing. Carving and drawing leaves no time for getting lost in the woods. I really need to retire.
