Hog Creek entry point allows overnight paddle only. This entry point is supported by Tofte Ranger Station near the city of Isabella; Tofte, MN. The distance from ranger station to entry point is 30 miles. Access is a 15-rod portage to Hog Creek leading into Perent Lake.

Really enjoyed your trip report! There's nothing like a solo for chillin'. I have noticed though, that sometimes I don't realize how tired I am from all of life's "busyness" until I'm away from it for a few days. Glad you also got to spend some one-on-one time with your Dad.
