Entry Point 8 - Moose Lake

Moose Lake entry point allows overnight paddle or motor (25 HP max). This entry point is supported by Kawishiwi Ranger Station near the city of Ely, MN. The distance from ranger station to entry point is 21 miles. Access is an boat landing or canoe launch at Moose Lake. Many trip options for paddlers with additional portages. This area was affected by blowdown in 1999.

I enjoyed reading about your trip. The outside temp is 9 degrees with a forecasted low tonight of minus 10. Your report and photos have me looking forward to next years trip(s).

Enjoyed the trip report - it sounds like you had a very good trip. I've been in #37 several times and been to all those places except Boze (need to do the Louse). I like Adams and want to spend more time there.
