Nice report.

Always is a bit unnerving to have a bear in camp. But, it sounds like you handled the situation just fine.

You kept your cool while getting the bears out of camp. Kids are pretty adaptive and I'm always surprised at how much travel/paddling they can take.

Nice report - thanks! Nice to have some type of activity going on in the rain if it is a couple nosey bears. I am planning a trip to Kelly for July or August. Do you happen to have any other info on the fishing? Thanks

I have never had a bear in camp to date. I hope the boys enjoyed their trip enough to come back.

The boys will be back; no problem.

Fitgers, I'm not much of methodical fisherman. I've found that what I enjoy is just slow paddling the shorelines while trolling a floating diver... like a Berkeley Flicker Shad. We did that and got a couple fish, but I can't offer more than that.
