Thanks for sharing your report. Glad your wife had a great time. My daughter and I were camped on the South Cone site on Tuesday and had zero fishing luck their too. We did however see a wolf or two as we are not sure if it was the same one or not, and heard them all evening all around the lake until well after dark.
Fun that the beavers on the lake went crazy when the wolves were near swimming erratically and slapping their tails like I've never seen before. It was an amazing experience!

Good to hear your wife wants to go back. Mine did not. ?? . is it possible you meant September for your report? Unless you are a time traveler. October 2020 isn't here yet?

Without the bad times, the good times wouldn't seem so good.

Ha. Well it felt like October heading in the first day. Thanks for the correction and too bad your wife is not on board. Perhaps an easier trip? BTW I still have your hand pump water filter you gave me. Comes in super handy crossing bigger lakes when out of water. Thanks again!

OMG we heard them quite loudly. I was completely into it where as my wife was .. not so much. LOL. I told her constantly when we were up there that hypothermia was more dangerous than anything we could see or hear. A group heading out when we were reported a couple of moose they saw on there way out. We never saw them but super jealous.

Thank you for sharing the report. My wife told me that the Boundary Waters is her favorite place in the world. I'm glad that your wife also understands how special it is.
