Hog Creek entry point allows overnight paddle only. This entry point is supported by Tofte Ranger Station near the city of Isabella; Tofte, MN. The distance from ranger station to entry point is 30 miles. Access is a 15-rod portage to Hog Creek leading into Perent Lake.

5/18 was the day my Mother died. I am very close to my dog and your story here brought a tear to my eye. Several of them, actually. Thank you and I am very sorry for your loss.

Heartbreaking. I just got back from my first trip with a new puppy, and am lying on the couch with my too-old to camp lab. I am so sorry for your loss.
