Entry Point 19 - Stuart River

Stuart River entry point allows overnight paddle only. This entry point is supported by Kawishiwi Ranger Station near the city of Ely, MN. The distance from ranger station to entry point is 28 miles. Access is a 480-rod portage to the Stuart River.

Nice write-up, I enjoyed reading it. It's too bad we didn't cross paths with you, we went from ep16 to lake Agnes on Friday, June 30, the opposite direction on the same route. My daughter commented how she didn't see others girls on our trip this year, as contrasted with last year.


Anyway, sounds like a good time!

Great Report and adventure for you and your girls. I was in the BW the last 2 weeks of June with my son and I think it rained at some point every day. Those all day rains can be frustrating.

Really nice Bass on day 4!! As we always say, a day of pouring rain in the BWCA is better than a 65 and sunny day at the office.
