Entry Point 14 - Little Indian Sioux River North

Little Indian Sioux River (north) entry point allows overnight paddle only. This entry point is supported by La Croix Ranger Station near the city of Ely, MN. The distance from ranger station to entry point is 32 miles. Access is a 40-rod portage heading North from the Echo Trail.

Nice report/trip. Looks like the overlook pic is from the nina moose river looking north to Nina moose lake??

Looks like it was a great trip, if you hadn't said most of you were rookies, I wouldn't have guessed, seems like you were on the ball and had a great time. Planning another trip yet?

Thanks for the report. Sounds like you had a good trip. It brought back a lot of memories. My first trip was in #16 to LLC-Pocket-Gebe-Rocky-Green and out #16. My second trip was in #14 through Loon, the small lakes south of LLC and back down through Gebe and out #16. It's a nice area.
