Trip Introduction:
The rain held out until we were in our tents at night, and until we left Monday morning. Overall a great break from work and the "civilized world", and some nice fall colors, although we were a week or two past the peak. Fishing was horrible. Didn't find minnows on the drive up, so brought in crawlers and some salted shiners that someone gave me. Caught one 14 inch smallmouth and a 10 inch walleye. Stayed on Smoke both nights at the site near the portage to Burnt.
