Good report, thanks for sharing. My wife and I enjoyed the puff taco at Hughies also during our stay in Grand Marais after our trip the end of August. Hopefully it's still there next year as we saw it was for sale.

Looks like it was a lot of fun. I'd like to try going with a group this big. We talk about it with other family members and everyone wants to do it but that's as far as it gets.
I bet the dog had the time of his life too. :) Thanks for posting all the fine pics too.

Great trip report - nice photos too - especially enjoyed the one with all of the berries. Good blueberry pancakes! Thanks for sharing your story!

Thanks for the report. We almost did most of that route this summer going in from Clearwater, but since we did a lot of bigger lakes last year, we opted for the Skipper entry point area. Now that I have seen your pictures, we definately need to do this loop.

We too, almost did that route this summer, but opted for Pine Lake instead. We camped at McFarland campground as well the night before our entry. Nice report and photos - thanks for sharing!
