Enjoyed your report. We came down through Lujenida to Kelso a few years ago - I really enjoyed the Kelso River and dolmen. It sounds like you had a pretty nice trip. I also took too much food and stuff the first trip and seem to leave something else behind and lighten up every year. I hope your next trip is even better. We were in there on Meeds 9/14 and sat through a testy storm then. Thanks for the report.

I enjoyed your report very much. Your pictures were great, well except for the 2 that were upside down,. I was impressed as to how clean and seemingly well organized your campsite was, no gear scattered all over the kitchen area, stuff you weren't using sort of tucked away [like the stove when you were cooking on the campfire]. Those reflector ovens are the greatest, we always take mine I built when we basecamp, you have to try a pizza in your next trip, brownies are always a hit. Always like to see pictures of folks with their life jackets on. You and your bride sound like your hooked, but just remember your next trip could be like my last 21 day solo when I saw the sun for a total of less than 24 hours and the wind blew like a banshee into my face nearly every day, prepare for the worst and hope for the best. FRED

Grant me the senility to forget the people I never liked, the good fourtune to remember the ones do, and the eyesight to tell the differance.

Sounds like a great trip. I wish I could talk my wife into going to BWCA with me.

I love Sawtooth... used them twice and both times got great service and advice.

Nice report. You sound like your absence from the BW was not very long. You got into the swing of things quickly. Now, plan more trips. JerryG

Looked like a great trip. Glad you decided to return to the BWCA. You both looked quite experienced and prepared for it just being your wife's first trip. Great photos!
