What a beautiful trip you had! And I loved the very detailed trip report and your great photos! We have been on almost all of these lakes at one time or another, but not for many years in the case of most of them. I remember Boulder and Adams particularly fondly.

Thanks for sharing your adventure! (Lauren has such a beautiful smile. :-)

Sounds like a really great trip with your daughter. I enjoyed reading it as you hit some of my favorite places that I've been to there. Glad you had a good trip.

Wonderful. Nothing like spending good, solid time in such a beautiful place with those you love the most.

Very fine trip report! Loved your photos. Thx for sharing. Was solo in those same areas this past June--very windy. Looking forward to bringing my 25-yr-old daughter on her first BWCA/Quetico trip next June. Cheers!!

Wonderful trip report. I have not been to some of those areas, but traveled through many parts of your trip on 2 different trips this summer.

Now I'm sorry we changed one of our routes this summer and missed Makwa, your pics of the cliffs are beautiful. We went from Gabi to Ogish on the same trip, but we were racing storms so didn't get to walk to the falls. Maybe next time. The night of the 7th and 8th was quite a wind, so I can understand her concern. We were on Seagull and my husband's hammock was really moving around a lot. Fortunately, our tent was more sheltered.

Thanks for sharing this! And here's to more great trips with your daughter.

What a great trip. You are blessed to have such an avid paddler for a daughter!
