Thanks for that trip report. It's very well written with great pictures. I just couldn't help smiling at so many of the kid stories and pics. Those kids are being brought up right!

Great Job! That many kids must have been nonstop entertainment. We brought our 5 year daughter in for the first time this year and I don't know who's more excited for the next trip........... her or me...

Thank you for the kind words. Our wives think we do it so we have another excuse to get up to the BWCA (kind of true!). They only half believe us when we tell them how much work it truly is. We were all exhausted by the end of the trip. From the time we got up until the time we went down we were working for them. We have already been counting down the years, when they are paddling us, doing the cooking and chopping the wood!

Just a couple weeks ago when we went up for our guys trip (trip report forthcoming), we ran into 2 guys at the Canoe Country Outfitters taking 5 kids (ages from 11 to 5). We at least had man to man (plus 1) coverage, they had to play a very good zone defense. Now that would be exhausting!

how true that is budfox. I've taken my three with no additional adult support and lived to tell about it, but YES I hope the payback comes in them taking me when I need a walker and hearing aids!

Good for you! Nice report.
