Entry Point 36 - Hog Creek

Hog Creek entry point allows overnight paddle only. This entry point is supported by Tofte Ranger Station near the city of Isabella; Tofte, MN. The distance from ranger station to entry point is 30 miles. Access is a 15-rod portage to Hog Creek leading into Perent Lake.

Nikon D200 with 18-35mm, 105mm macro, 80-400mm. I have recently upgraded to the Nikon D7100. I'm looking forward to making videos.

Excellent photos! I'm taking my dSLR up there along with a nice point and shoot and a GoPro. Will be traveling some of that same route on my trip this spring. I loved the time lapse shots and hope to do some of the same.

I'll look forward to those pictures, both for the parts of your route I've seen and the parts I haven't. We'll be heading up to Little Sag from Mahlberg this fall so I'll look for those.
