Awesome. Memories your boys will never forget. And hopefully they will take their kids someday.

Great trip and report. We took this same loop, minus Raven, then we went out Insula and the numbered lakes 2009. This is a quality route!

I had to laugh when I read that you took the wrong "portage" out of Cap to Boulder. We did the same thing in 2009. I think I read that what we took was the old original portage that they let grow over. But, it still looks like a portage from the water and the first little ways still looks like a trail.

Great loop. The portage out of cap you took is short! Compared to the portage to ledge then veering south and cutting over the same pond/stream. You saved yourself some time/energy. If the water is low I imagine that shortcut is impassable.

Boulder and Adams are such gems.

Great report. I camped on the same Sagus site in 2006 on a 10-day trip. Lots of memories of the stretch between Fraser-Sagus-Boulder-Adams.

Looks like it was a great trip. Great memories been trying to get my boys to go just once with before I can't go anymore

I will get all the rest I need when I am dead.

Thanks for the comments. I know I am blessed that my sons enjoy canoe tripping and we look forward to going every year. The Fraser-Sagus-Boulder-Adams-Alice area is a great region and I'm sure I'll go back to someday.

Very nice, thanks for sharing, a lot of those lakes are where I started my first canoeing adventures. Very nice to reminisce.
