Lake One entry point allows overnight paddle only. This entry point is supported by Kawishiwi Ranger Station near the city of Ely, MN. The distance from ranger station to entry point is 21 miles. Access is a canoe landing at Lake One.

We'll be going in on Lake One next week - curious as to the shortcuts you mention as last time we went to Four I only remember the one shortcut from the entry point over to the outfitter.
