That's funny, we were in that campsite on June 22nd last year. Right before you.

Beautiful pictures. Sounds like you got off to an ambitious start.

Why not give us a report of the rest of the trip, too?

Well written journal. Looking forward to the rest!

You have very colorful writing style. I enjoyed the report. We went in 4 days after you did, so possibly crossed paths. I think we may have gotten turned around the same place you did. See our Ensign to Thomas report. We were planning on going to Sagus to escape some of the crowding, but our site on Thomas ended up feeling out of the way enough. I hope you let us know how the rest of the trip went, and that everyone enjoyed it enough to go back often.

I think the feeling of freedom and rediscovering ancient rhythms of living are a big part of the experience that draws many of us back. The ability to reconnect with the natural world is priceless.

Hope you caught some fish after traipsing back for those poles!
