Nicely written report and excellent photos MP! You guys had some great weather and the fish cooperated. What could be better?

Great report. 25 years tripping together? Wow.

Also, I never thought about the significance of the name "moose plums" before (I say "moose berries"). Good one!

Great report! Thanks for sharing.

I did a similar solo loop through that area last year. I also love the Mora - Lil' Sag portage. Very scenic. Like to get back there someday.

Glad to hear you had good fishing. Looks like you ate like Kings? 25 years..........impressive!

Nice report. You guys eat great!!!!

The picture of the Voyageur without pants made me laugh! I recognize him from the Voyaguer Motel in Two Harbors, but he's missing his paddle! Also, at first I though maybe he was moved because the background is different, then I noticed the cement pad behind him and realized that the building must have been torn down. What was there, a car lot wasn't it?

Anyway, great report and great pics.

Nice trip report. We celebrated our 25th consecutive year last year. In the first photo with you cooking the fish, what is that in the fire grate that looks like zip lock bags? I don't usually find wood like that. Great photos, loved the report. Hope you two have many more years left.

it is the bags that our shrimp and scallops were in. We put them there so the sticky juice would get burned off, the bags get washed and reused. Haha looks bad though.

The main reason I put the bags in the firepit is so they wouldn't blow into the woods while I cooked.
